Default European Delivery - What car and what would you do?

I just wanted to make a thread to see what everyone would order if they were to take European Delivery of a car worth less than $110,000.

What car would you buy? (Keep in mind it has to have Euro-delivery option) Where would you go? What stops would you make? Lets say you have 3 weeks to enjoy your car in Europe.

I was caught between an M6 and Cayman GT4, and I think I've decided on the GT4. The Porsche European Delivery package includes driver training in Lepizig, so I would spend a couple of days doing this. After that, I wouldn't have a clue where to go, or what to see. Looking for some more insight!

IMO I wouldnt choose a car based on post-delivery incentives.... unless youre planning to keep the car short term only. You can sign up for advanced driver training anywhere.

M6 would be my game, personally, as a DD in Canada and Europe-sight seeing.

Obviously if the delivery took place in the winter Id be more inclined to head towards the Southern EU countries.

Have you confirmed you can even get a GT4? I was under the impression they are limited production and damn near all spoken for as of months ago.

Anyways currently its a toss up between an exclusive edition Macan GTS ( kind of on a kick for one of these, if the economy wasn't what it is...) or a full to the nines individual order M3.

Would do Germany, Switzerland, a bit of France, maybe Belgium, finish in the UK ( depends on the rules your manufacturer has for drop offs ).

I would toy with dipping down into Spain as I have family there but the roads there are so bad that i feel its a better trip to just fly around or rent a subcompact.

Driving an M6 in Europe would blow chunks just due to its shear size. Keep in mind how bad the roads in the cities are there esp with a lowered car ( GT4 ) and cobblestone roads. Also how people in Europe generally don't have the same respect for other peoples cars that we do here ( Driving into you parallel parking, spitting on cars, keying, bad shit really). If you can believe it we are actually quite respectful as a whole.

Porsche has some pretty cool looking canned trips on their ED website that include some cool roads to drive with your new car.

^ Does alfa even do ED on production cars? Can't find any references on their website and aside from a few special people who had the first 4C's in the world who went to the factory i can;t find it on even an alfa forum?

Well god damn it this is a serious thread! GTFO

What kind of world do we live in where we cant have a serious conversation about buying high end German cars, picking them up from a factory 10,000 km away and driving them around Europe for a month while we are enduring the worst economic situation that Alberta has seen in decades.

    Get a grip man.

If you have confirmed you can get a Cayman GT4 and do E.D. I only have two comments:

    1. What the hell are you waiting for?!
    2. Well done sir.

I drove the ring in a Opel Corsa this summer and it is a scary track even in a <100hp car, I would never take my own brand new powerful sports car on that track. Very quick way to come home empty handed.

100% the GT4, saw one ripping around downtown a couple months ago and instantly fell in love.

Yes the GT4 is tough to get, you have to be wait listed.. This does not mean that its unobtainable though.. I'll continue to wait and if I get the go ahead, I'll likely jump on it.

    Stelvio pass looks very cool.
