According to a thread on Reddit, the Grey Eagle Wednesday nights have been cancelled.
Has anyone heard of a new venue for and early evening car meet during the week. Tim Hortons on Barlow is not an option due to the silliness that goes on there.

Where's the official word about Wild Wednesdays?
Where are the beyond ballers that own coffee shops/car shops?
Was talking about this with the GF the other day... but wouldn't it be cool if someone with a shop started hosting a weekly or bi-weekly meet? Has it been done?I mean, wouldn't it be a win-win for everyone? Everyone could hang out and talk cars... shops could dish out parts/mechanical advice, coffee/food sales, parts sales, maybe a DIY day, service bookings, etc...
Seems like some shops in the states already do it, and it seems fairly successful?
But on another note, maybe someone could approach Speeders? Seems Im there every other week anyways lol... and I tend to recognize a handful of usernames most times. They have a fairly large lot too, and most car guys would definitely go in for a lap or two...

Toma has a dyno day and bbq once or twice a year. I do agree let's get something rolling this year.
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."
-H.P. Lovecraft
This is already starting to sound like the attempt at McMahon meets last year - plenty of interested people but virtually no one willing to step up and coordinate things.
Wild Wednesday's were fairly big meets, one would like to think that if a number of people were to get together, coordinate something and get the word out (cruise calendar) then the cars would come. Wild Wednesday's were evidence of the want of such a venue in the car community, that is if they're actually done.
And to expect a shop somewhere to get things going, well chances are that most of those shop owners are plenty busy already without having to add the setup and coordination of a regular meet to their workload. Nope, this has to come out of the car community - because I just do not k ow, how did the Chinook Beyond meets come to be as I can't see the mall being the ones who started that.

Will fuck off, again.
It's too bad, but I'm guessing that there were a lot of people who came for the cars only & didn't spend a dime in the casino. I know I was one of them haha.
Tomas annual bbq/dyno day is always a fun time
Yeah, the info in the Reddit link doesn't look to be anything other than an unsubstantiated rumor.Originally posted by eglove

Not a rumor. It's true. The organizer is a good friend of mine.
