I've gone on a couple tastings hitting up ~4 wineries/day with friends not on a "tour" per-se.
They are all good though. I think it's 5-10 bucks to test unless you buy a bottle or two.
Actually we booked the grey monk tour where you walk around the facility which was pretty cool. Quails gate had a nice facility I remember. Most can accommodate large amounts of people, there was only 1 or two which had a building smaller than my bedroom. The wine was still good doe

We just rented a limo and picked 4-5 wineries to visit.
If you have a car, you don't need a tour imo. The wineries are everywhere and you can hit probably 5 in an hour incl tastings if your quick.
Call my buddy Jim Harris at Uncorked wine tours. He owns the company with his wife, Deb. 250-769-3123
Awesome dude and great company.

Very unfortunate that this event has passed.

Honestly if you have a vehicle you don't need to book a tour. Just stop in Kelowna at the info centre and pick up a book and map of all the wineries and plan your day(s)
Lots of great little wineries right in Kelowna, there is a 5 winery loop right there you can check out. I suggest dinner at the Pyramid winery in Kelowna, very tasty food paired with their local wines. They are an organic winery.
As soon as you get over to the west side there are tones, literally will fill your day. I do suggest a tour at Mission Hill as it's quite a large place and very interesting. Quails Gate has a really great late harvest Riesling dessert wine if you like them.
As you travel south towards Osoyoos you can literally spend days traveling and wine tasting. A must stop is Burrowing Owl, they have a really great restaurant on site and it's up top the hills and has a great view out over the valley and grape vines.
We did it with our trailer and camped while we drove to all of the wineries.
Last time we did it we came home with 3 cases full of wine!!!
I had a great experience this summer at Skaha Lake / Kraze Legz (http://krazelegz.com/) winery in Kaleden.
Thanks for all the recommendations and info guys, appreciated!
