Default Vehicle sold with wrong tire size

Bought a new Dodge Ram in December of 2014. Everything was going along just fine until I went to put winter tires on it this December. When looking up the tire size for new tires, I realized that the dealership had sold me the truck with the wrong tire size on it. I feel rather dumb that I didn't realize before now that the vehicle had the wrong size tires and I am not sure that there is anything I can do about it now as so much time has elapsed since I purchased it. The craziest part is that I have taken it back to this same dealership 3 times to have regular maintenance done on it and nobody ever said anything about the tires. I'm not sure what to think of them anymore. Any suggestions about what my rights are regarding this issue?

If the tires are on the wheels, how can they be wrong?

Just because it doesn't show the same size when you put it into some website?

How about some details on what you got and what you should have got. According to the bill of sale of course.

    Missing too many details.

#1 What is the tire size of the tires on the vehicle right now.

#2 What is the tire size stamped on the inside of the drivers door pillar.

#3 Why would you expect any technician to say something if the tire size is off by one or two sizes, its very common for people to change sizes to their own desire.

Would put money on some website (like tirerack) coming up saying the tire size should be (for example) 275/65/18 but this particular truck comes with (for example) 285/60/18 because of the options selected

just because they're not oem size doesn't mean they're wrong... there are many different fitments for different vehicles, many of which will have the same out diameter and wont affect the speedometer.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

What exactly do you want to come out of this?

Have you suffered in some way as a result of having the "wrong" tire size?

What is your objective here? If your vehicle runs and drives fine I really don't see what you're going to get out of this.

You should also check to make sure the dealership didn't sell you a truck with the wrong headlight fluid as well; it's very important the right type is used, or your lights could fail at night.
