I will say that it won't be totally dry just because the beef will have the sate sauce. Are you super allergic/reactive to chicken? I only ask because most likely there will could possible be contact with chicken somewhere along the line. IE going through the toaster or something.
Sounds good, a small amount of cross contamination wouldn't be an issue, just can't actually have it on my food kinda thing. I'll have to swing by at some point.

Went there today (saturday), was a nice day, so I decided to take the top down and go for a cruise with the new gf, check out what all the fuss was about.

Service was fast, and friendly, wait time was about 5 - 8 mins.

Gf got the chicken, I got the beef. Met the man himself. great guy.

Gf gave the subs a 9/10, said it woulda been perfect if they gave a little more meat.
    I'll do the same

I was just passing by and I got hungry. Great subs, really hit the spot!

I heard the owner chatting to somebody about car stuff, so I was thinking "Hmmm.... I wonder if this guy is a Beyonder"... sure enough, I found this thread today.
Maybe. But there are also a lot of gearheads that come through. We are car people haha

Where can I find viet sub deli meat? Wanna try making a few on my own. I remember seeing packages of cold cut meat at an Asian market somewhere.

Fairly sure even T&T carries some of this; you won't get the variety and the taste is nowhere close. Sold wrapped in leaves

I've seen them prepackaged and sliced. Just can't remember which market it was.

make sure it's "thi thi" (across from harry hays) and not the "thai tai" chain. A lot of people get confused and then end up disappointed when they don't get the real deal
