    Default Marijuana price falling.

    http://www.latimes.com/world/mexico-...230-story.html

"The loosening of marijuana laws across much of the United States has increased competition from growers north of the border, apparently enough to drive down prices paid to Mexican farmers. Small-scale growers here in the state of Sinaloa, one of the country's biggest production areas, said that over the last four years the amount they receive per kilogram has fallen from $100 to $30."

Its pretty much following oil and metals, and wheat - pretty much the entire commodity sector.

    Deflation is grinding prices down.

Well, they are selling at the Sinolaon farmer at $13.6 per pound, if the LA times is correct.

Not that you could get quantities that small at that price, but maybe - I mean they sell oranges for like 30 cents/pound three oranges at a time.

I'm going to have to revise my bottom estimate, it will probably not hit $5 per pound (the historical per pound price of nickel, BTW) - If I had to guess its getting close now, so $11 rough guesstimate.

Broccoli is starting to go black market, $6 per pound.

No saving is ever passed to consumers.

The government should investigate dealers for collusion and price fixing

If your wife gets a card for medicinal purposes, she can purchase it legally already. I know a couple people that have medicinal cards. One is in Vancouver and the other is here in Calgary. I didn't spend too much time talking with them on the subject but I believe they mail you your stuff once ordered. You can also get edibles instead of smoking/vaping. These you for sure have to mail order.

From what I remember, in Calgary there is only one doctor that can/will prescribe it to you and help in getting the card. They are located in Temple (NE). I don't know exactly which doctor or office but I'm sure the info is out there.

Imagine that. Someone making it a crime to do as they will with their own body.

Not all laws are created equally. One of the fundamental rights we have in a democracy is the right (and responsibility) to question to logic of our laws.

    Now we're getting somewhere.

Lets start with dying with dignity, and the self righteous that impose dogma on others.

I am countering that there are limitations, for good reasons. I don't really want to be on the hook for some meth-head to be in ICU taking up a very expensive and valuable bed, possibly displacing someone who's leading a productive life. Make sense?
And who are you to decide the fate of another?

Furthermore, if you address the issue from a financial point, then tobacco, alcohol, big macs, stress, and life in general should be illegal. We're born to die.

Are you suggesting a pay as you go health care system?
