11.5% for me. Granted last years was inflated as fuck... thx Aspen
$38,000 decrease or -5% overall. It's still higher than an exact model home on mls right now.
12% drop for me. Sweet.
Good god, WTF did you do? Build a second, smaller house on the property?Originally posted by A2VR6

Ours only dropped by 1%, taxes went up $6/mo. Can live with that.
Up 5.9% and getting dinged for our renovation which wrapped up Dec 2015. So much for a July 1 sales comparison
Edit: just read the physical characteristics at Dec 31. Damn city

Well, the place was reno'd in 2013/2014 but it was just cosmetic work..it's not like we demo'd the thing... hell all that was added was a double garage vs. the old single.Originally posted by BerserkerCatSplat

Maybe it's a time to file a formal complaint.
Assessed value down 8% compared to what i paid for it last May, property tax $8 lower per month. Townhouse in Beddington.
Mine went up from 271,000 to 306,500
35,500 increase, or 13% increase.

5% decrease. -$24K
Inner city
I'd lose my mind if it went up 33%?!
A2VR6 must have been sending hate tweets to Purple Prince in 2015.
Detached home in Shawnessy dropped 4%($15000).
Was your assessment adjusted in 2014 or 2015 to reflect your renovations and what did those renovations consist of? What community and the garage most likely added to your assessment a bit. Many factors at play here.Originally posted by A2VR6

Ous, almost inner city 1955 bungalow, 0.5% assessment increase, estimated 5% tax bill increase. Assessment is probably pretty much bang on what market value is.
