People like me who love to gamble completely understand the odds. But I still do it because I find it fun. I go into casinos without the mentality to win lots of money, I do it for fun. I buy lottery to win obviously, but if I don't then at least there was some hope. Same reason I play 50/50 at Hockey games.

its pretty easy actually, there's lawyers that specialize in it, basically set up a trust or a company or something to accept the money on your behalf to shield your name from being released publically as the winner and go from there.
