    Holy shit!

Wow. I'm stunned. Taking this hard. Another icon from my youth gone.
    Life seems so short.

Just saw that in the news. I was confused with his new album release. RIP, another icon gone.

    Lemmy and Bowie..

First thing I heard when I woke "Guess who died.. David Bowie"

First knew of him from the movie Labyrinth.

One of the first concerts I ever went to was the David Bowie Glass Spider Tour in Winnipeg.

RIP, this is actually somewhat ironic because just on Saturday I was thinking of starting a thread with respect to how the rock stars of my youth were all getting well up into their late 60's if not 70's but decided against it because of the usual ridicule that would ensue and then a legend passes away at 69 years of age. Hell to name a few others, Kravitz is 51, Adams is 56 and Mellencamp 64 and the list could go on. 69 really isn't all that old any more or at least to me it doesn't seem so.

I've been thinking the same thing for a few years now so sad. RIP Bowie

Honestly I don't know how some of them are still alive considering the lifestyle they have lived.

I remember him for Space Oditty, and that Little drummer boy with Crosby.

    But most of all, this:

Zeppelins "Stairway To Heaven". WTF? Mercury and Bowie were leagues beyond that cliche POS band.
