G35 was tinted all around when I got it. Volvo was a POS so no tint and acura doesn't even have privacy glass for some reason, but next car I will probably tint again. Not that dark mind you, just a light tint to keep it a bit cooler and cut down on glare.

My truck has factory tint on rear drivers side/passengers side and rear window.

I had to vote "haven't yet, probably will" because I am tempted to get 50% or 35% on my front drivers side/passenger side.

BTW - having 35% on the fronts and 10% on the back makes the fronts look like there is no tint at all.

Going to 5% all around would be the RAM way. I like 50% for the fronts though, it's enough to make a difference but it's not likely to get noticed or get you in trouble.

I like having the back 3 done, makes it dark enough in the car to make it seem like the front sides have a lighter tint when there is no tint at all. I'll continue with this on all cars going forward.

Front driver/passenger windows tinted 30% to match the factory rear tint, mostly to protect the interior.

I have had tint on every vehicle I have ever owned the past 23 years. It has been over 10 years since my last ticket and it has been at least that long that I haven't had darker than ~35% on the front windows.

My last 3 SUV's I have done 35% all around including over the factory tinted rears. The back is extremely dark and we put a ton of miles on in the summer on vacations and I like that the kids are comfortable in the back playing video games or watching movies so the tint helps.

My last 4 cars have all had 20% rears, 35% up front. 35% all around is my favorite for looks, but I do slightly darker in the back for the kids.

Tint all the way around FTW.

Besides, with the recent change to the distracted driving law a $50/0 Demerit tint ticket > $287/3 Demerit distracted driving ticket

I've always liked the look of tint. (Well that's not true.... the 90's DIY purple-hue tint was not great).

My Infiniti has nothing on it right now, but I do intend on a front&back 35% tint soon. I see nothing not "grown up" about it; do what you want to your car - especially if it's something that helps out practically... like tint. My son sits in the back, and often complains about the sun. I'm not going to refuse to help him out just because someone has it in their head it's immature in some manner.

Must be something in the pablum, milk or water these days because I don't ever remember my kids complaining or crying about the sun when they were young.

    Yes and no.

If it's factory tinted i.e CUV/SUV I like it. (Dark Grey GLK/ Black Tribeca)

My dark grey 911 has it from the last owner and I never removed it.
My dark grey NSX had it from the last owner and I removed it.

On a darker vehicle I probably would get aftermarket. On a white car, never.

I've done limo at the back and lighter (35%) at the front. Now I like 35% all the way around and vision is no biggie as I have a backup camera

I have and will always have tint on the sides and back of every car. It helps with the heat and UV damage in the summer. My wife gets sun burns from sitting in a car for long periods of time. She shouldn't need to put on several layers of SPF 60 to drive into the city for some shopping.

I also have light sensitive eyes and the added protection (light and UV) helps with my eye health and was recommended by my ophthalmologist. Because of this, i pay the mod tax and will continue to do so.

I have always tinted my funner cars, and have left the kids mobiles alone. The days of limo tints are passed me, these days I typically run 50% all around a very light tint that is not overly noticeable. Touch wood I have never been ticketed.

OK here's a question - do you think rolling down your windows near police makes your more or less likely to be pulled over?
