Of course humans were originally designed to live off vegetation, it's in the Bible. What more proof could you need?

wtf ever happened to common sense moderation? Why do we need to be on one extreme of the spectrum or the other? Yes we eat too much red meat. Do we need to stop eating red meat? no. How difficult is this?

    haha it just is.

If you don't go extreme, you won't get maximum results.

It's called conditioning. Like Pavlov and his dogs.

Simply condition yourself to enjoy other things.

Or the old Eddie Murphy joke, about starvation making you believe that cracker is the best delicacy ever.

Gluttony reduces enjoyment of life. It doesn't improve it.

The answer lies in modern water treatment.

Orly? I figured you were a smart guy seeing how you looked into it and discovered this fact and would have also taken a second to see how one could get their b12 as well. It's funny how meat eaters always try to use this as an argument against veganism. Fact is that cows get their b12 from......plants! And actually that's not even always the case because the soils are becoming worse and have a serious lack of nutrients these days. More and more farmers are giving cows b12 supplements because they aren't getting it from the grain they are fed. Therefore, vegans get their b12 either from supplementation or from fortified foods, no different than the average person taking a one a day vitamin to supplement their diet even though they eat meat.

Oh look, a "being vegan worked for me" testimonial!

I know a vegan who returned to eating meat, after years of being vegan, because it just simply wasn't healthy for her long term. Shall I post up their personal anecdotal experiences as some kind of proof as well?

Or let me guess, she just wasn't doing it right? It's fine to make that lifestyle choice and be satisfied with it while it works for you, it isn't going to work for everyone though so don't be a moral crusader about your opinion. Which is all that it is.

Bottom line is B12 comes from meat. If you think it comes from plants you are sadly mistaken. Before you post pointless links you have found on the Internet that say otherwise save your time.

    Humans need B12.

Whether you take it in pill form or not it's a human necessity.

That pretty much sums it up. A vegan diet will not provide you B12 unless you are taking it some other form that originally came from meat.

Ya that's much more of a problem than worrying about heart disease, cancer and diabetes. I'm sure your diet nets you all of the vitamins and minerals you need daily right?

I'm sorry, but if you think consuming fresh lean meat, like fish, poultry, pork and beef will cause these things you are truly misinformed.

I think you should do a little more research before posting such nonsense.

Like I said earlier, I'm not putting a gun to anybodies head so I'm not on any "moral crusade". I can't force someone to change in any way, It's up to them to do it on their own.

You are truly misguided. I feel sorry for anyone who believes a Vegan diet is healthy.

I basically eat the bugs on the floor, but I also drink 2 large glasses of blended fruits and veggies each day. Those 2 drink antioxidants will hold off cell rust for a while. Well, at least long enough to get some shit done.

Serious question since I do like to eat healthy, what do you put in your drinks? Some of the blends you see people post about are incredibly tedious to shop for and make every day, it seems to me that yours would be efficient.
