    EDIT:

On topic - sell some of my fleet and build a sprinter. Something I can live out of at Laguna Seca for a couple weeks at a time.
I’m sure those kid drank a lot of pop without asking their dad.

Then I have to make sure the one thing my car meets is a high end audio system that will pass my wife's ear, yes it was one of the primary reason why I held on the Lexus since 2016 for its ML system. lol
    You married right, an audiophile?

This is the one con with my Cayenne, the Bose stereo is mediocre, good for pump up music, but pretty lackluster at anything critical. Worse than the Bose in the 2001 SL500 I drove last year...

Good power from the T8 too, pushing 400. Splurge for the B&W sound upgrade (I have it in my V90) as the stock system leaves a lot to be desired.

will check out the T8 for sure, though the Lexus NX 450h+ caught my eye, sadly for a flag ship model it doesn't come with the 17 speaker ML audio, that's pathetic

while T8 is a lot of money, the B&W is miles better than the ML

You won’t find the Lexus without MAYBE calling dibs on a dealer stock order coming in the next 6-9months.

Also the extended range T8 is 455hp and 525ftlb. 0-60 in 4.5. It’s as fast as my C43 was, gets 65km electric range and 5.3L/100 on gas.

Plus the B&W stereo is excellent.

Well shit... The wifes 2019 Ford Escape was great up until 60,000km when it started belching smoke at start-up. Ford installed an entire new short block under warranty though so we though no problem. Just crossed 70,000km and it is happening again. It will be fixed under warranty but I have zero trust in this 1.5 Ecopoof anymore so made a call to a buddy who is the new car sales manager at Southpoint Toyota and just ordered a new Rav4 XLE N/A Gasser.

Should have just gotten the Toyota to begin with lol!

After renting a Model 3 for the weekend, I’m seriously considering a Lucid Air or a Taycan

They should never have gone away from the V6 on the Escapes

Did you get an ETA on the Rav-4?

2 to 3 months... I am not fussed if it does take a little longer though. This Escape is still under warranty for another 30k but I figure might as well get things going now as I will not feel safe out of warranty at this point.

Yeah I would be too, 2 shortblocks before the end of warranty doesn't instill confidence, especially on something that's not abused and has pretty much exactly average miles for the age!

This winter/next spring - We'll see what I think of the new AT4 GMC truck as our ZR2 has been great, but if they are available without a year long wait or whatever, moving over to the GMC/Canyon/AT4 is going to be an option.

Spring - missus likes her BRZ some days, and dislikes it others, I've given up trying to make sense of it, so I think it's going to be out for next season. It's the only car we have right now in fact, still haven't replaced the LC500, and I'd really like the IS500, she wants a 1LE or Mustang.

If all is right in the stars, IS500 and GMC Canyon At4 +, and ZR2/BRZ - .
