    I'm currently on the hunt for a nice a f10 535d m-sport to replace my x5.

My brother had that 8.1 in a Yukon XL. He liked it better than the duramax and the cummins because it wouldn't wake the wife/kids up when he was towing is trailer or boat in the mountains.

Sounds like your brother had an exhaust and tune on his diesels. Another good option for not waking his wife, kids, and neighbors in a 3 block radius is just... leaving them stock.

What's the point of owning a diesel if a neighborhood cat can't comfortably fit inside your exhaust?

4 months into a Tacoma order with zero movement and I'm shopping around. Basically just need a bridge vehicle that gets me to the new midsize trucks that are coming out in the next year or two. Tested a CX-50 and Ranger, might go see a Sierra and a X1 this weekend.

Every time you leave a diesel stock, God kills a kitten.

So it’s a neutral event then, rather than letting the modified diesel kill the kitten?

I'd have a very different approach to 8.1 ownership than your brother.

That's only in the morning. You posed to be up cooking breakfast or something by then so that's like an alarm clock. Woo woo!

I bet there's an '06 Range Rover for sale soon. Keep your eye on the market, lots of new electrical parts too!

I sold my Harley a few weeks back. Thinking about putting that money into something only slightly less impractical and getting a cheap and fun roadster, like a mid 2000's Z4 or something similar.

Haha funny you say that. With the little use my bike gets, I've been contemplating selling the Ducati and putting the money towards a similar 'classic' fun car, or import a JDM or something around that price point.

I think that’s a great idea. Those z4 should be fairly reliable I think?

I forgot about the luxury tax so I won’t get a turbo s to keep up with 89coupe lol

My current lease is up at the end of next year. Not sure what I am going to do as I have the only 1 car family vehicle (wife doesn't drive) Was starting to lean towards the IS500 but realized wait, its not AWD. Then I have to make sure the one thing my car meets is a high end audio system that will pass my wife's ear, yes it was one of the primary reason why I held on the Lexus since 2016 for its ML system.

My cross shopping list would include Acura Type S, C43 AMG, G70, S4 and Q50 S, the new Lexus NX hybrid intrigues me, but would I be ok driving slow as snail for the sake of gas saving lol

As mentioned in the PHEV thread, after getting to know the wifes xc60 T8, my next car most definitely will be a S60 T8.

Next car will be a 911 Turbo S

I’ll give the M5 to my son on his 18th bday.
I know you got the calf roping down, but never forget AmericanM5 from m5board....

    EDIT:

On topic - sell some of my fleet and build a sprinter. Something I can live out of at Laguna Seca for a couple weeks at a time.

Having owned a C43 and S4 as well with your comment on gas savings, check out the Volvo S60 T8
