After getting a sensible car, I want to go full out flipstah. I am looking at a R107 SL, either a 560 or a 450. unfortunately the bundt wheels just really look right on this car and they don't fit on the 560's...

Hopefully in the next few months, just looking for the right one.

My cousin had a 560SLC AMG back in the early 2000s. Same body/headlights as the one in your pic, but had a AMG body kit, hard top, AMG exhaust, lowered suspension, etc, and the classic AMG manhole cover wheels. Was such an unreal looking car. He sold it probably around 2005, wonder whatever happened to that thing. Haven't seen it in Calgary at all.

Edit: It was nearly identical to this car, but with better wheels (wheels are shown on the black car in the second pic)

Very cool, I feel like it is such a cool statement piece. Also, depreciation at this level won't be bad and parts are actually pretty reasonable as the volume of cars produced is so high.
