Default WTB: Lexus/Toyota aluminum sport pedal covers

    Hey,

Looking for some oem Lexus/Toyota aluminum sport pedal covers for the brake and clutch. These came stock in the older is300 and celica gts and MR-S'.

Parts are discontinued from the dealer. If anyone has some or knows of some for sale please let me know.

    Thanks.

What car is this for? I may still have my set from my 06 IS350. I ordered them from Lexus, their OEM. I'll check when I get home though.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

You talking about the rubber pedal covers that slip on the metal pedals like oem and has an aluminum face with rubber nubs? OBX was the company making those and I'm also wanting to buy them. Please give me a pm too.

These are definitely not discontinued, can be had next day. Talk to your local Toyota or Lexus dealership, they can order them for you.

When I looked them up they had a fair amount in the PDC...

Blows my mind how many times I will hear from someone a part is discontinued, look it up and have tons of stock in the warehouse...

Thanks for the replies, after talking to ek 2.0 and him telling me they are still available, a buddy of mine ordered me the covers.

I did go ask to Lexus and a Toyota dealer, both said they were not able to order me any. Weird.

I don't know what the deal is sometimes with the dealerships....

I tried to order a rubber trunk mat for my cooper S through Crowfoot Mini. They told me discontinued, can't get it anymore.

I called Edmonton Mini and they ordered me that exact mat I needed...no probs. I also bought other items from them instead just had my friend pick it up for me.

I think typically it will be one of two things, either it is a part that is not easily found and so instead of saying "I can't find it," they will resort to "it's not available," (alternatively "they've never made that"), or they will check stock and see 0 available and they either do a poor job of explaining it and/or the customer misunderstands that it's not available right now but it could be available in the future.

Nothing upsets me more than when I mistakenly tell a customer something can't be had and finding out I am wrong. Very rarely will someone leave after I tell them something can't be had and I don't look for at least some time after that just to be sure.

The worst part is if I do manage to find it but have no way of contacting them to let them know.

(Sorry guy in 2007 that I told you couldn't get replacement seat belt buttons, it haunts me still. They weren't listed in the catalog at the time and I hadn't yet found the numbers. I just hope he sold the car and isn't still driving around with his seat belt falling to the floor every time he gets out of the car.)
