thank the fucking NDP and all the fucking yahoo's for voting them in. idiots. i'm gonna get alot more pissed off if my year turns into a disaster, so get ready for it!
on a side note, I am investing triple into this years marketing budget to offset the down turn.
BC... hah
Richee-richee-rich, I fucking hate the NDP but they didn't make your mess. Do I think they're helping it? Nope. But did they make it? No.

I say stupid shit all the time.
If Trump is the example of what it means to be a leader of a country. Then Alberta absolutely is wrong, we have not even come close to having enough debt. More debt is a sign of progress and the way of the future, only cavemen have surpluses.
We should be at 200% debt to GDP ratio by now, instead of measly 163%.
We also need more Casinos, and less productivity in oil and grains. $160 per ton for wheat? Hell yeah, we need to diversify into broccoli and cauliflower. Casino gambling is productive, Donald Trump will mandate it as a requirement for citizenship in the US.
There is not a single grad student coming out of post secondary that could pay off debt at $160 per ton wheat, Casinos are a must!

More debt! More broccoli!

Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
Next time BC goes into recession I guess we can blame them for not diversifying their economy.
They are already feeling the hit to the winter tourism economy for sure... Wait till summerOriginally posted by suntan

I'm in marketing. The last thing you do when things slow down is cut advertising. You need to work harder to get a bigger piece of a smaller pie.
I 100% agree with your decision to amp up your marketing. It's the smartest thing I've ever seen you post.
I hate to sound like my kid but...
haters gonna hate. Hey BC, how do ya like that PST shit?

Unfortunately, a PST will be coming soon enough. I bet the NDP sneaks it in next year.Originally posted by Masked Bandit

Also, while we might not curently have a PST, apparently tons of government service charges have been JACKED. A couple of small business owner friends said some sort of licencing/registration renewal they have to do yearly went up 500% at the registry office
Other than massive property tax and utility fee increases the mayor and council have done little of any consequence. They confuse activity with accomplishment.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
I think the bigger lesson is that catering to a hipster minority over hard working Canadians with families ruins provinces
Ya hear that Nenshi?
I wouldn't be surprised if bike lanes were somehow responsible for the economic downturn
Can't wait to start collecting PST for the NDP! Imminent regime change! Imminent!Originally posted by Masked Bandit
