Duratracs in snow, not much good for anything but drifting.
This is relevant to my interests, I was thinking of going with Duratracs on the dmax for year round tires in a stupid brodozer size of 315/70R17 but might reconsider if they aren't good in the snow.
Non studded. I have Hakka 8s for winter but took them off already. A 1 ton will have more weight behind it and do better with Duratracs in my opinion.Originally posted by HiTempguy1

Slapped on a new set of Nokian Entyre 2.0's all season. Did the lake Lake Louise drive on Sunday. Roads were brutal, but the tires performed great not regretting taking the winters off early.
Well, didn't work out too well this morning

The top 5% are unaffected by short term, economic cycles like this.
Duratracs are great in snow...they just suck on typical calgary snow=ice immediately. I know that real slippery day a couple weeks back was a hairy drive in with my taco on non-studded..Originally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

Well, pfinally made the call to putdriving insurance back on it. It's officially spring right???
The nighttime lows are now JUST averaging 0c so I would say anyone waiting could risk it now ..... around the Calgary area of course.

My 3/4 duramax has Open Country MTs on it year round which somehow still worked well in the winter. Duratracs would be great year-round on that heavy truck.Originally posted by HiTempguy1

Swapped over to my summer setup on Friday, then went golfing Saturday. March is weird.

I do get great service there, especially when I mention my name, haha.
Yea I'm pretty sure this is cleaner than they were even on delivery lol. Fucking BMW brake dust. Feels good to get it done though they really look their best this way. Good coat of wax on them as well (as best as I can do with all the grooves) so hopefully they will stay that way for a few weeks lol.Originally posted by Canmorite
Holy clean.
Getting mine done Saturday morning. Can't wait!
