Please read your own articles. Thx

"The bizarre conviction was a mistake, government spokesman Col. Mohammed Samir admitted in a Facebook post after the news spread. The child ended up on the suspect list after being mistaken for a 16-year-old with a similar name, Samir wrote. "

Doesn't matter, he was sentenced along with others tried in a 116 person suit (all other 115 defendants also got a life sentence)

That it is a mistake is beside the point and will surely win an appeal, but he was tried and found guilty in absentia.

The system is so backed up over there, they aren't bothering to do life sentences on an individual basis - instead doing them a hundred at a time.

if he was five, then throw the book at him, but at four, that's a bit unreasonable.
I'd vote for him. America may have a black guy, but we'd have captain fucking Kirk.

    For reference:

    http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-24772806

They seem to finally be onto the more urgent criminal cases that are three years in the queue. Or inotherwords, they are finally onto the Morsi transition. Anything less than murder has been pushed out to a decade of waiting or I'm assuming will be dropped.

Elect a president that twelve months down the road they not only want removed, but removed. Whodathunkit.

I've met some four year olds who deserve to be in jail. Even if this conviction was a mistake, I'm sure he deserves it.

After reading the title of this and some of the side articles in the link, I took a double take that this was the National Post and not the Onion.

"‘I’m boiling inside’: Sixteen-year-old wins online contest — living with a porn star for one month"

A 16-year-old Moscow boy has won a month in a hotel with a Russian porn star, and he appears to be pretty happy with his prize.

Ruslan Shchedrin’s mom and sister, however, are not so pleased.

Russian porn star Ekaterina Makarova announced the teen was the 100,000th visitor on an online gaming site — the winner of a contest in which she offered herself as the grand prize.

“She’s got a good figure,” Shchedrin told Russian media this week. “I am looking forward to our meeting. I’m boiling inside.”

Makarova said the boy could choose to live at home for the month and they could just visit, going to occasional movies and dinners, but that was up to him. Sex wasn’t necessarily part of the deal. But if it happens, “life is life,” she shrugged.
Wish I heard about this competition.
