    Default Bugatti Chiron

It’s finally happened, the new Bugatti Chiron, the successor to the Veyron has officially been unveiled.

In the revealing press release, Bugatti notes right off of the bat that the Chiron is “the world’s most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive production super sports car.”

I’ll start off this article with the power, something we’ve all been looking forward to learning more about. Powering the car is the 8.0-liter W16 engine with two-stage turbocharging, which pumps out an extraordinary 1,500 and 1,180 lb-ft of torque between 2,000 and 6,000 RPM. With this power and the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, Bugatti states that the Chiron is ready to set a new world speed record, especially with ta stated top speed of 260.9 mph. It should also be mentioned that the Chiron will be able to run 0-62 mph in less than 2.5 seconds. And if you expected there to be a lot of radiators, like the Veyron, the Chiron hosts ten of them.

The new king of hypercars is here.

Looks better than the Veyron for sure IMO.

Wheat does Bugatti do that nobody else can do to get their DCT's to handle huge torque?

This car is what they Veyron should have looked like in the first place. This one will age much better IMO, the Veyron looked outdated (those awful headlights) the day it came out.

    So much

Looks pretty awesome, though I think they could of done a better job arranging the headlight LED's instead of having 4 halos on each light.

French racing blue. That's Bugatti's colors.

It's a racing unit that uses dry clutches. Not sure how cooling is managed or what kind of life it has before replacement. Everybody else uses wet clutches for cooling and longevity, something Veyron owners don't give a fuck about when even the wheels are replaced during routing maintenance lol.

Really don't like the giant wrap around "C" it has going on.

I suppose one of the good styling features is when the owner eventually wraps it around a telephone pole at 300km/h, it has a built in tombstone on the grill.

    Looks great!

Takes design language from the Atlantic it looks like

If I recall the scheme properly, Bugatti has a service plan that you buy into (50k US a year?) that covers all the routine maintenance (including tires).... not sure if DCT plates would be a part of this though

(For eg. Lambos cant be launched more than a few times without burning out the clutch)

Love how that C design also makes it into the interior between the driver and passenger seat area.
