V3 is available for the UDMP now. I turned on the ad blocking check box. Gets 63% on this test: https://d3ward.github.io/toolz/adblock.html

curious to hear what wifi setup you are looking to go, been tempted to play with ubiquiti for a while but pretty happy with my upgrade from asus aimesh wifi5 to tp-link onemesh wifi6. crappy thing with onemesh is that it doesnt support ethernet backhaul but even without extenders, the tp-link ax73 covers our whole house alreadyThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Wifi will still be Unifi access points, but the router will be something else. Unifi OS is pretty limiting in weird ways. I want to run Vyos or OPNsense. Like I can't run split DNS, the mDNS reflector doesn't actually work, and a bunch of other issues that are limiting my homelab. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Oh, I am on the RC path. Mostly like Golden Master for Apple. EA is too flaky for me, but RC has been pretty good. Also, I always wait a week or so before installing RC and look at the comments from people on the "Community"This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

If you want fancy DNS, you should run a proper DNS server. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

OPNsense FTW. There's a github project to make installing the unifi controller a breeze. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I'd just run the controller on my k8s cluster, or just in docker on an RPi. I'm leaning more towards Vyos right now.

Have you guys tried the 6.5.x AP firmware? I finally reluctantly updated from 6.2.x after 2 official releases, and all my 2.4ghz devices were flaking out. Most notably, any HomeKit devices kept losing connectivity, Nest cams would have random drop outs for 10-20 mins losing recordings. 5Ghz traffic was fine tho. Rolled back to the latest 6.2.49 and everything went back to normal.
Seems to be a serious issue with 2.4Ghz stability, but don't see anyone actually talking about it. The firmware I was on was 6.5.32
