Good single player story-driven games?

I've been looking around and I'm not really finding anything. The new Tomb Raider is okay, but it feels like more of the same. Not really interested in multiplayer (so I guess The Division is out).

Anyone playing anything that's good and story driven?

PS4/PC preferred. Any genre, though a good RTS would be killer.

Sort of. I have played the intros to both Witcher 2 and Witcher 3. I was never really able to get into them.

If you have an Xbox One the Rare Replay has a ton of fun retro games that are largely single player.

Replaying Conkers bad fur day make it worthwhile for me.

Banjo Kazooie series is icing on the cake!

Bloodborne is a fantastic game if you're into Fromsoftware games. It has a deep story, yet you don't work as hard to piece it together as you do in Dark Souls 1 & 2. Great combat system, and overall a quicker style combat pace that Dark Souls.

Dark Souls 3 is released on April 12
Uncharted 4 is released on May 10

Some notable indy games worth checking out, Bastion, Transistor, Journey, Firewatch.

What games have you already played through on PS4? That may give us an idea of what to recommend.

Bastion/Transistor/Journey I have played. Have not played Firewatch.

On PS4, I have played last of us and LBP3. Not much else there.

Diablo 3 and Expansion if you haven't already played through it.

StarCraft (RTS), all 3 expansions, great story line, was very fun.

If you like a more paced out RTS, you could check out the Anno series.

Got D3 and played it a bunch. Haven't picked it up in at least a year. I'm assuming they've patched the shit out of it and totally changed the game? lol

For RTS's, I've always been a fan of SupCom/TA, Mechcommander/Mechcommander 2 were great, Ground Control, Homeworld 1/2... gotta stop living in the past lol

Dead space... played the first five minutes of the first game. Never touched it again.

I am a total wuss when it comes to scary movies/games.

I was totally the same way, I started W2 and really didn't like the control system. But being the stubborn jerk I am, I stuck with it and really ended up enjoying the game. Going to play W3 whenever it gets cheap.
