I just had them in, great guy, awesome pricing but exclusively carrier. From what a couple people mentioned about that brand, I'm not so sure?

Normally bigger is better, but I'm reading this is not the case with AC units.

Guess it's time to go with the gut?

Also some recommend 16 vs 13 seer... I'm inclined to go with 13 because it's Calgary, and we only really use it for 3 months a year.

    Anyone with feedback?

    Thanks!
Not sure if this helps you at all but here is my setup.

    2 Furnaces (1 upper floor), 1 for main floor/basement. Each floor is 1500sq ft. I have 2 x 2.5 ton units (13 seer).

I'm guessing you have 1 furnace? I'm not sure how dual zones work. When you got your quotes did they come to your house and take a look around? Based on windows/house direction/etc?

Similar setup. I have just one huge furnace that zones out based on need. When both zones are running it does take a bit longer, but thats how the builder did it!

3.5 ton seems to be the way i am going. W&J killed the quotes, and although its a Carrier, with the 10 year warranty and their reputation I am pretty sure its going to be just fine!
