The messed up thing is that almost every sect of Islam has a different derivation of what they consider Sharia Law, from the Shias to Sunnis to Maliki, Hanafi etc, just as every hardliner Christian/Protestant group has their own set of rules and beliefs based on whatever the hell they decided was right for them from the Bible.Originally posted by Feruk
For just one example, I'd consider anyone who backs Sharia law to be a radical extremist. I think most people would agree. Apparently, in Africa/Middle East/SE Asia/South Asia, more than 50% of Muslims in almost EVERY country support Sharia.
Furthermore a Muslim sect can believe in implementing Sharia Law but will cut short of promoting Salafism. Those who support Salafism like IS are the extreme be-all-end-all of radical Muslim extremists.
