Default What To Do With Junker?

I have this vehicle that runs wonderfully, engine is great (of course!) however, it has a lot of things that need to be fixed and it is just not worth it - even with me doing the work!

So, my master plan is to take all the crap out of it that I want and can use on my other vehicle - wheels, tires, brakes, battery, basically all the easy shit to remove that I can use in my other vehicle.

Question is, who can I call that will take this thing away, or where can I take it for it to be scrapped? Do wreckers buy these things, etc?

Never had to deal with this but figure someone on beyond knows someone who knows someone.

I don't know if they'll pick it up, but if you can bring it to them any of the scrap metal places will buy it off you assuming it meets their requirements. I'm sure someone on Kijiji would do it for cheap as well.

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.

You can sell it to a salvage yard directly, but they usually want all the fluids drained and it to have wheels. They'll give you a value based off the weight. I would just call PicknPull, they give you a quote on the phone and they can arrange to pick it up.

If you take the wheels off most tow truck drivers wont take it away for free nowadays

the price of scrap metal has gone down, and most guys get pretty greedy

PM me if you have a hard time getting someone to take it away for free. I can pull a few strings
