If that happens, this is most definitely the worst recession ever
    Kurig's are surprisingly expensive

At one place I worked they were averaging over 2 k-cups/day/employee and probably only half the staff drank coffee.

Some people were going through 6-8 cups per day.

^The mainlanders are probably taking them home to use in their home machine.

My wife's office got rid of flavoured creamers. Tough times.

I was personally pretty annoyed to lose the slurpee machine

Also took away our San Pelegrino and make us drink tap water. What kind of backwards country do they think this is

Still got the flavored creamers though, I watch them toss them every few weeks brand new sealed as not one person on my floor uses them. Also still get our diet doctor pepper stocked every week which a VP we fired 2 years ago liked.

    Corporate Calgary is hilarious

I don't think that's just mainlanders, dude. I bet anyone with a Kurig at home would think about offloading some company stock for use at home.

We had a Kurig in my field office back in the day; shit's expensive and we had only 6 people in the office.

My sin is taking company gatorade ( why we stock gatorade in our fridges is thoroughly beyond me ) for golf on the weekends

Can confirm. Mainlander will take home anything that isn't tied down.

Then again, mainlander is also being affected in this economy. House 3 doors down rental that used to house 4-6 mainlander workers is now empty and up for sale.

Mainlander. Brown is more interested in corporate espionage or giving work to people with kickbacks.

I'm hiring a Marketing Accountant for my group, if anyone wants more info pm me. It's a one year contract position.

I'm dismayed that out of the current pool of resumes I looked at, there was only one person who has the skill set i want.

Just got my notice an hour ago. Big O&G company. 1 of our project are near completion for local work and the other is on a slow roll. Although it's not a big thing, I managed to survive the recession long enough that I officially have 5 years experience in the industry haha. Already started my search for a new job but for now have contacted my old supervisor at a warehouse I worked at for a part time position.

If anyone has any leads for a SP3D piping designer job let me know. I work for cheap according to my seniors haha.

don't think it isn't a big thing, when i hit the 5 year mark it made a huge help in getting a foot in the door with a lot of people, and a lot of coffee chats. You would be surprised at how few people in my sait program (went back after being laid off) had under 5 years of experience in canada, it really does help espescially if you have a good reference.

    best of luck
