Default Looking for Engagement Shoot Location

    Hello,

The fiance and I are looking for a location to conduct our engagement shoot.

We are pretty much open to anything at the moment. Would like to stay within 1 hour to 1.5 hour outside of city limits.

One of the things that can potentially interest is a site with classic cars and planes/helicopters.

The fiance really admired Heritage Park however their Photography session fees are out the roof just to use their location.

If you have any locations in mind please throw them in here, and if you have a picture of the location. Even better!

Any suggestions will be appreciated, thank you all.

Not sure if this helps you at all, but we did our shoot at fish creek during fall and it was beautiful.

Whole lotta that at YBW (I've seen a few people store their $$$ old cars in private hangars), might want to post on the avcanada forums.

Anyone else with any other suggestions?

How is Spruce Meadows? Can we request for a photoshoot when there are no events scheduled.

River Cafe on Princess Island is great... no fees. Nice rustic look inside... no planes or cars though.

We did ours there and the photos turned out great.

Not our pics... from Google to give you an idea:

Trevor did our shoot, we picked princess Island Park and simply took a stroll through the park and stopped at any interesting locations. We actually used the photos in our guest signing book and everyone gave great compliments and we're curious as to where they were taken. Hell I prefer his photos over the formal engagement shoot we did in Vancouver with our wedding photographer.

If you are interested in industrial style we did ours down by the old breweries south of Inglewood and they turned out really nice. Bunch of truck trailers, tailroad tracks. Entire area is pretty well I used but an awesome concrete jungle.
