Recently, I installed a K&N Typhoon intake on my 09 Civic Si. I made a mistake and accidentally cut the coolant rubber hose instead of the PCV hose.
I went to Canadian Tire to find a suitable replacement, however the only hose that they had which was the correct diameter/length was fuel hose. This hose goes from the throttle body to the intake manifold port.
It's been on the car since Sunday and I've driven it to Black Diamond and back and all through rush hour this week. Zero problems. I've read conflicting statements re: coolant degrading fuel hose. But isn't fuel more harsh on rubber than coolant? Some Mechanic input would be much appreciated
