Anybody had used an electrical company to another a electrical plug by the garage door for a side mounted garage opener?
This is for a drywalled attached garage.
Closest plug is about 12 ft.

What do you expect from Princess Auto garbage?

I've had breaker bars from them snap in half and wrenches break in half with next to no torque being applied on them.

I just ordered 800sqft of interlocking garage floor tiling. Some chinese crap, but it was only $2,100 all in. It'll be all grey, with a black 2ft perimeter.

I'll report the install and results once they get here.

How do you intend to clean that if something falls or get spilt?

Do you have drywall installed? If there is no drywall involved, it's literarily two wires and two wirenuts and some wire. Youtube that shit. It's so simple, you literarily can't fk it up. White to white, black to black, bare to bare (and to box)....and you have an extra plug.

The downside to those is how much dirt and debris falls between them. You can probably vacuum the tiles and get that stuff.. but they were in my shop and I removed them.

    Update:
Contacted the other electricians mentioned here but they never got back to me.
I'm assuming they're either too busy or the job is too small for them.
Ended up going with Electricman based on a recommendation from another thread.
Happy with the work, will hire again.

Work I ended up getting done:
-New side mounted garage door receptacle which was tied into the existing receptacle on the ceiling
-New garage receptacle that is on its own breaker for a workbench
-New receptacle on its own breaker in the utility room

Starting to plan for Spring. I want to do garage drains and polyaspartic coating.

For drains, is Concrete Innovations my only option?

For coating, these are the current recommendations from thread search:
    Next Level
    Elite Coatings
    Zone Garage
    Garage Granite

How would you rank these or are there others I missed?
Who did you end up going with? I want to get it done on about 500 sq ft of flooring

Never got it done. The quotes for drains were like 8k and I didn't get past that. So I blew the money on a spring break trip instead lol.

my plastic hanging shelves are falling apart and need to replace them. Any suggestions for cost effective garage shelving? I don't need any of these fancy combo units as I have a rolling tool chest for the tools. Just need shelves for various bottles of automotive fluids that I never use.

Build your own, so cheap, so sturdy.

For big shelves i have two of the husky ones and they're amazing. I had a C4 batwing on one shelf at one point among other things

    Hang horizontally, possible overkill though:
