JB Weld didn't hold. Same as the liquid kind. Sigh, time to get a new radiator

You can always swing by Crossroads Radiator and have the guy take a look. Saved me over $1000 by fixing a rad I was going to replace. Call first as he moved last week and his website still has the old Monument Pl address.

    No ragrats

Seized door cylinder is causing the alarm to go crazy and it's a parasitic drain.

Awesome way to celebrate the long weekend!

Issue: Seized door lock cylinder is causing the central alarm to think the car is stolen, causing a parasitic drain.

Solution: Crack open the cylinder, rebuild/recondition, fix the contact points on the central locking system, enjoy!

    Thanks for the instructions, Rennlist!

    Everything works meow!

    Yeah...

One thing I learned a whilst wrenching on my old 944...

Some one else has probably experienced the same issues I am having...

And the solution is probably on the internet.

God bless the internet. Will be monitoring the situation, but this was the first time it was able to start without bypassing the immobilizer so that's a good sign.

Time for maintenance next week with 5W30 oil change and clean up of seats.

It's been a while since I updated but so far the Money Pit is running well with a new radiator from CSF.

Although I'd like some help on diagnosing an AC issue:

    - It has front and rear AC
    - Recharged with freon
    - Rear blows ice cold; front is hot
    - Could there be two condensers? What would cause that or is that too vague?

Your blend doors are probably just stuck in the front, there should only be one AC system, one compressor, one evaporator, one condenser, etc.

Correct, I would lean to the physical movement of the blend doors in the system under your dash. Or one of the lever arms is broken. Probably setup to fail hot not fail cold.

Cool, thanks @Sentry and @mr2mike ! It's underneath the glovebox so that's going to be fun.
