Just a heads up for Calgary and area.....
The 'Wild Wednesdays' (Wednesday evening hot rod & classic car gatherings) that have been held at the Grey Eagle casino for the past few years has been MOVED, and will now be held at the MILITARY MUSEUM (formerly 'museum of the regiments').

4520 Crowchild Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2T 5J4

(The bridge of Flanders Ave. is under construction, so you may have to enter the back way via 50 Ave.)

Wednesday night gatherings will begin on Wed. June 8th and run throughout the summer each Wednesday evening, with cars starting to gather around 6:30pm.
From what i have been told, they plan to host as many cars on the grass as will fit, and then spill out into the parking lot.
I have also heard that local food trucks and vendors will attend.

Dead, the whole parking lot at grey eagle is gone and then when it moved to the museum people were wrecking the grass. The only thing on now is the Menace meets down off Blackfoot

Are they show and shine type meets as opposed to BS type meets? Someone was talking about a Friday night show and shine they go to now. Said the one they go to is more formal with a mature crowd which is what I’d probably prefer. Not into the drama filled wannabe FnF scene anymore haha

The blackfoot tims meet is the exact same crowd as barlow tims.

Euro cars and coffee at Cardel Homes Tuesday nights is a thing, although they are snooty about what cars they allow into the show space. I go once in a while just to look at old weird euro bullshit.

Went there on Friday night, it was packed. Did a loop, saw a haggard accord doing giant burnouts with a huge crowd watching... left.
