I enjoy it every now and then too and 3 pieces is the magic number.Originally posted by EK 2.0
But then...the fat kid that I am can only eat like 3 pieces haha...
Agreed on the sides though, their salads(if you can call it that) are fucking nasty.
Fuck no. Had some in the Philippines, and thought it was some of the worst fast food chicken I've had. I'm going to guess you're Flip (cannot recall) so maybe you grew up with it you have this nostalgic attachment, but it's really not good.Originally posted by G

My wife thought Jollibee would do well here and perhaps it would with all the Filipinos here, and it better, because I can guarantee it wouldn't end up selling much to the Caucasians.
You want good chicken? Popeyes. Had some in the States and it was really good. Not quite as flavourful as KFC, but nice crispy outside and not dripping with grease. Their sides were solid too. I think we have all heard of it via American television, so I think it'd have a jump start with brand recognition.

Is it just me, or was KFC actually decent like 10-15 years ago?
I grew up having it during family picnics or other get together.
I've only had it a couple of times in the last 5 years... It's not that I can't eat more than like 2 pieces, it's that I don't want to. It makes me lose my appetite and feel ill... Its nasty AF.

The only good side at KFC is their gravy and next to that is popcorn chicken. The chicken itself is so gross and dripping with grease it makes my stomach queasy thinking about eating it.
I like the spicy big crunch
oh man, i remember working as a KFC cook back in high-school, basically AYCE fresh chicken off the fryer all the time.
now a days though, after eating 2 pieces I feel like crap
wouldn't mind doing this as a challenge for 12$ though!
Wait, is this just a one time thing, or does it just start on the 18th?
This. Eating challenge among friends.Originally posted by taemo

Imagine if they changed the deal to the McKnight Village location.
They did last month, I think. I texted a friend about it when I saw it.Originally posted by Hallowed_point

Good thing you specified South Korean, people might get confused with the North Korean fried chicken place lol Kim'sOriginally posted by n1zm0
ehh, I'll just stick with the various South Korean Chicken places from now on like Yum Yum, I can't go back to KFC after scallion chicken with pickled daikon cubes on the side.
^That Quebec Fritou place isn't bad though, I tried the one on Canyon Meadows Dr
No love for Mary Brown's?!?
The thought of AYCE KFC, or KFC in general, makes me sick just thinking about it (stuff is just nasty). However, 20 year old me would have been all over getting smashed and throwing down in an eating challenge with this.
I agree with NoPulp, I remember it being 100x better 15+ years ago.
