Does anyone have any of these and can recommend what brands are best, particularly for Apple devices.

I have jaybird bluebuds x for the gym. They work quite well and the range has been much better than the package says. New version just came out also.
Are those little yellow hooks the aerial or are they not needed at all?

Those are removable. Comes in different sizes and you use that to put in the fold in your ear to keep them in. It works very well. Rotate to use them over ear or under ear. I use mine under ear currently.Originally posted by nzwasp

I have the Sony SBH70 and use mine on a daily basis at the office and home.
It's an open design, has NFC, vibrates, supports multi-point for up to 2 devices, and has all remote control features (play/pause, change tracks, volume, call handling, etc.).
My favorite thing is being able to quickly hide the earphones in my shirt when I need to. The grippy texture also prevents it from slipping off, unlike the previous SBH80 model.
I have older Jaybirds and love 'em. Wear them all the time.
Battery life is great (around 10-12 hours of use), charge nice and fast, are super comfortable, have excellent range (like, 20+ feet), sound quality is great (as is built-in mic).

+1 for the older blue jays as well, sounds great, fast charge, and good range but my battery life has really depleted (used a few times a week for the last year) ~ 4-5 hours on a full charge now.
Go Flames!
I've been using a wireless set from Yur Buds for the gym the past six months or so. Comfy, stay in really well while running/lifting/etc and sound pretty good.

Looking for suggestions, I've been using the corded headphones that come with the galaxy phones. Sound wise they have been good enough.
Any different suggestions or are the jaybirds still the go to?

Im hoping and praying that the truly wireless tech starts to get better. Right now I am banking on Kanoa. http://www.getkanoa.com I was already burned by "Ownphones" on kickstarter, but I should have delivery of my Kanoa's in November.
I looked at them, and then the B&O H5.... picked up the latter. Should arrive today, hope they are as good as the reviews.Originally posted by flipstah
Jaybirds or bust
I have two. I have had the Plantronics Go 2 or something for quite some time though. Didn't get much use until a month or so ago. Battery lasts two days with hour and half session each time. The fit is uncomfortable and it doesn't stay when I am on an elliptical. My ears maybe somewhat at fault for that for the small whole. lol. Beats I have (non-bluetooth) have the same damn issue.
Have spent close to $300 on two different kinds of beats and the Plantronics but wasn't satisfied with any of them.
Then bought a Mixcder Basso off Amazon for $25 and prefer them over the three others. Mainly because of the fit though as it doesn't keep falling because of the loop. Sound quality is good enough for what I need in the gym.

Bang and Olufsen H5 came.
- Fantastic wireless set up. Love not having wires getting caught on things or having to drop wires down and through shirts.
- Comes with a nice magnetic charger and the sounds/bass are fantastic, not as good as my Westone ones though. Charge lasts for 5 hours.
- There's an app to change the settings, soft, dynamic, warm, etc.
- The mic pics up voice well for calls.
- Comfortable as heck. different ear pieces. comes with a soft carry bag.
