Pretty tame where I live in Copperfield. Some small hail pellets for 2-3 minutes.

Yea the storm that went through the South parts of the city was pretty intense too.

I have heard thunder a lot in my time, close calls with lightning too, but that sounded completely different for whatever reason - perhaps more current from the lighting or something - sounded much more powerful.

I think a tree got struck in our area (Deer Ridge) as there was an explosion right after lightning (not thunder) and all our utils are buried.

The crown is the weakest part on many aircraft, with zero dents/deformations allowed on some (B737 comes to mind).

I've always wondered how they fared with golf ball hail .....

Co-worker in the way in to work (Airport) windshield was smashed out while driving.

Thank god I'm off today! Mostly just heavy rain and a tiny bit of hail in my area.

All 3 cars we had outside got peppered in Cranston. At first inspection looks like 20-30 dents per car atleast. Roof, pillars, hoods and trunks are fucked up.

Yep, not sure where the damage is exactly (not at work at the moment). But I wouldn't be surprised if it was the crown.

Our cars didn't look bad until I dried them off. I can't imagine hail that large didn't leave damage, unfortunately.

There was lots of small (pea+) in cochrane. Some as big as quarters but really short lived. Don't think any damage here though. If so then rag too ftw. Haven't inspected the car yet.

I checked out house siding, looks like there are 7-8 cracks and holes in it from the hail.

How about the roof? I imagine if the siding is damaged the roof will be worse.

Holy fuck! Did anyone else just hear/feel that boom around 330am? Boyfriend thinks it wasn't thunder/lightning and something blew up. It echoed in the distance after too but it woke us up. I looked outside and saw other neighbors looking out of their windows too. Unreal. Never experienced that in my life before.
