I was talking to my neighbor and she was complaining about how the house she is renting has so many issues. I have walked through it once before to help her move stuff and thought for the age it was decent I mean there was some things that could be fixed up, like an outlet that didn't work, dirty floor and that she had a ton of birds that lived up in the corner roof of her place. So a couple of days ago she decided to contact a public health inspector and told me about it. She told me they came and sent the landlord a report. I was surprised they would come out let alone send a report but she was able to get them to do that. Anyways it got me thinking what power does a public health inspector have in relation to rental units. I know this isn't grow up and the house is not in total disarray. Thoughts?
