Default air conditioning after D16 to B16 swap

    I'm doing a D16 engine swap to a B16 engine swap
is it hard to get the air conditioning to work?
how much work has to be done?

you need a $350 bracket or something, not sure exactly what you need, but if you buy the part for $350, you can keep your ac functional

Edit: My bad, the thread is only a year or so old haha

Well, it's actually not NEEDED, the b-series one works fine, just that it'll only hold onto your compressor with only 2 of the 4 bolts. As long as the car's not completely slammed to the ground and aren't driving over ever pothole there is, the 2 bolts will be sufficient.

So tell me why we're all still replying to this again? It is almost 2 years old!

i can vouch for that. i used mine without the bracket and only holding it with 2 of the 4 bolts. worked great.

And I swear gpomp, one day, my Civic will be faster than yours! But it doesn't help that you're always stealing my ideas and making them better...
