Extra (double) Candy is welcomed on 10k eggs.

They didn't say "which" rarer pokemon would come out of 2K Eggs. If its larvitar wow. But I can imagine they will also only have the 2K candy hatch bonus which is much smaller than the 10K.

Whole point is for you to spend $ on incubators.

Plunked down my hard won gym coins (which BTW I did manage to get to the 10 gym max) and got the 25 lucky eggs.

Don't know if I should go all in and get 50 lucky eggs or spread it out to some more incubators. It looks like they aren't planning on having a sale on incubators.

Started six 10K eggs right at 2:01 to make sure I get the extra candy bonus *crosses fingers for first larvitar*

Six 10K eggs, two pinecos, one dratini, one snorlax, one skarmory, one gligar.

Still no larvitar.

Additional:

2844 Wild Snorlax, Razz, Ultra, Great throw and I'm pretty sure it was a Curveball.

And it fled.

First Snorlax out of twenty one to flee, and it fled on the first ball, heartbreaker

Man I'm pooped. They better not have another event for a month.

Managed to get 12 mass evolutions in (from saved candies and mons) and blasted through level 34.

I have heard that at level 38 your pokemon get one last half evolve, its probably to disincentivize the obsessive compulsives.

Nothing too exciting from this event. Found and hatched 3 5km eggs, so got some starter pokemon candies.

Hatched ~20 2km eggs. Mostly the boring stuff except Dunsparce (probably not that rare but a new one for me), a Miltank (kind of cool) and a couple Pineco (Enough for me to evolve a Forrestress).

Unfortunately did not find any 10km eggs.

Had my first Lapras in about 20 flee too, wasn't even that great. Same 1 ball and run.

Finally caught first Larvitar! Now the question is, do I continue buddying up my Blissey or Dragonite to full or switch to Larvitar.

What's more of a priority right now? Gym fighter/defender or finishing your pokedex?

That's a good way to think about it, I guess its Larvitar walking now because I already have four 2900+ Rhydons, two full powered up Gyrados and one Snorlax.

Much more activity at the gyms today, first warm day and everyone starts going outside again.

What do I do with extra evolution items. I've evolved everything but sunflora, and have 17 leftover that are now only taking up precious ball carrying capacity.

Being a hoarder I know I'm going to hold onto them for as long as possible.
