Did a rough calculation. If you've played 24/7 since the day it was released, you'd have to average ~3000xp/hr to hit level 35. No way you're doing that without a bot (or sleep...or a job... etc) or putting a ton of cash into the game and just lucky egging constantly. I guess it's feasible, but pretty unlikely.

This guy seems to be at level 37 legit. Although he is funding every single minute with a lucky egg from YouTube monies.

Me, I just ordered up a cheap pair of touchscreen gloves (with grip dots) I wonder at what negative temperature a tablet or phone dies at... Might find out soon.

Also ordered up a flexible, shapeable USB extension and 1 watt USB LED just because its gonna get very dark all the time soon - and I won't need my external battery to use to chargeup the tablet as there is no way I'm going to be out for more than an hour in freezing weather.

No your right I just checked and it is still working, I thought it wasn't working for me before because I'm only searching for around 5 pokemon.

Should be less competition for the gyms with the snow, it won't stop people who drive but those pesky kids won't be a threat

Speaking of which, this update might keep people's gym training active. We might start seeing more level 10 gyms around.

IMO, this weakens the game so much for competitive players. Which means, we'll be seeing shitty Pokemon take gyms.

In an upcoming version of Pokémon GO, when training at a friendly Gym, Trainers will be able to bring six Pokémon to battle instead of one. In addition, the CP of the Pokémon you are training against may be temporarily adjusted lower during your training session to generally match your Pokémon’s battle capabilities. No matter what your level, you can now have an impact on your team’s Gym. Walk with your Buddy Pokémon to that nearby landmark and show your Team Leader that you can battle with the best!

I don't know that gyms need to be easier to train up. The two next to me have been level 10 for weeks now, and will probably stay that way now that the cold weather has hit.

Spent $1.39 just to put my two cents in on a great game, not that I needed the pokecoins.

i think thats the point, they need to be easier to train up so they are easier to power up after they change hands, should increase the turnover of gyms.

i am level 24 and i can barely kill the lowest guy in a friendly gym most of the time so i get 184xp... only 500 battles to level up a high level gym...., so i bet its even more frustrating for those lower levels

It's not so bad when you have 5 guys training at the same time because then it's really 5v1 and the prestige goes up much faster.
That said, I don't have 2 friends that would go out with me for something like that, let alone 5

Is something going on with walking the eggs? I had an egg that was 1.8 / 2 kilometres walked so I fired it up while walking around the BMO Centre all day today for a convention and after about 4 hours of walking around, I looked at it and had only 1.4 kilometres walked. WTF? It went backwards. How does that work?

I bought mine about a month ago at EB Games for ~$45. Market Mall location as they had limited stock. I believe Deerfoot Mall and Chinook also showed stock while the rest was out. Can't find it on the website now...

- More Shitty Pokemon (Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar/Drowzee/Hypno/Zubat/Goldbat
- 2x Catch Candies
- 2x Transfer Candies
- 4x Walking Candies
- 2x Egg Hatching Candies

Also, Fastpokemap back online just in time.

I'll probably go hunting to try and finish my pokedex this weekend with walking, but will definitely head to pip to try and stock up some candies to level up some guys
