Been hunting Exeggcute trying to get one with high IV and CP for a solid Exeggcutor, not having much trouble finding high CP but the stats always suck.

I guess potions depend a lot on which team you went for.
I find with blue, you really most of the time run into gyms that need topping off or reinforcing - so training up with a slightly lower CP a couple times usually does the trick, you can even sometimes train and only need a couple starter potions to heal up for another 500 gym prestige gain.
Now, yellow - seems to be the ones drinking potions and using revives like they were water.
Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.
If I'm ever low on supplies a quick jaunt up 4th Street from 26th ave near Wurst to Eau Claire usually gets me what I need.
Went through about 35 Max Potions and 40 Revives yesterday taking out 2 level 7 Blue gyms by T&T on Harvest Hills Blvd. So many Lapras and Snorlax
The key to grabbing those 10 gyms if going solo is to avoid getting caught up fighting gyms with a tonne of pokemon defending them, I target gyms with two or less pokemon in them, take it quickly and move onto the next, ideally look for friendly gyms that you can just drop a pokemon off at and get going, I can usually get 10 defenders deployed in 45mins to an hour although it does take longer if I'm having to fight a lot or lose a couple defenders I deployed earlier.
Not enough gyms up in the north there in close proximity to hold and rack up more than 3-4 at a time, they're usually a few KM apart.
I mostly just wanted to take them down and get some xp

Sometimes finish before Midnapore and Shawnessy, depends how aggressive the other teams are and how many gyms I passed due to having 3 or more monsters guarding them.

Yup. I usually try and ramp up level 2s, or try and find vacant spots in level 2s and 3s. I'll take down anything 5 and below. I may finish off with a level 6, but it depends on the type defending them.Originally posted by StreetRacerX

The key to defending gyms, however, is for your team to stack them with a wide variety IMO. Most gyms you see with all Dragonites, Snorlax and Vaporeons are fairly easy to beat if you know what to use. Taking down high level gyms with various types is much harder. Especially when your line ups don't have 'bench depth' lol.

I find dragonite's useless now so I stick with Snorlax and Lapras for defending.
I keep a decent amount of potions because I like taking out gyms. I'm yellow
GO FLAMES GO!
I've mostly been collecting but now have the opportunity to start battling with some high level pokemon.
Can I only get 10 coins per day? I took over 2-3 gyms and stuck some guys there but then I end up losing them within 21 hours and only ever getting he 10 coins..
Nest Changes today:
Shouldice Park - Pikachu -> Shelder
Confederation Park - Squirtle -> Charmander
PIP - still looks like vulpix and magikarp rotation
Central Memorial Park - Exeggcute -> Machop
Nose Hill Park - Omanyte
Bow River Pathway across Bowness -> Magikarp -> Seel
Mckenzie Towne Golf along river -> Bulbasaur -> Magnemite
U of C on pathway to trainstation - Onyx -> Bulbasaur xx:50
North of Nosecreek pathway - Jigglypuff -> Meowth
Nice, time to make a trip to Confederation Park.
If you cash out with the 3 Pokemon assigned to the gyms, you get 30 coins. If you lose them in the process before cashing out, you lose the coins/dust as well.Originally posted by hurrdurr

Built with Chopsticks
To cash out, you need to tap the top right shield button in the "shop".
You can do it right away as soon as you get 1 gym, or try for more. As soon as you tap it, it starts a 21 hour clock where you cannot tap it again.
115 seen/caught.

once per 21 hours, and you only collect on gyms you currently have pokemon in.Originally posted by hurrdurr

By westhills there was a double snorlax and lapras
Been doing 4 incubators at once for the 2 weeks, haven't found squat in the 20-25 eggs I've hatched in that time
