3 snorlax and 1 Lapras in harvest/panorama
Some other rares like victree, Charmeleon, etc within 10 min drive

GF & I were out chasing, too..

Lapras popped up by the movie theater in Coventry, then a Snorlax a few blocks away later on.

Went in the NW to her neighbourhood/ area in the Hamptons and there were about 10 other cars and people on bicycles ....

Wow, looks like the NW was bumpin with Pokemon last night lol.

have you caught most that high? I only have 2 pokemon 2000CP+ while the remaining are in the ~1600CP. most of the big ones I've found were outside my place. I haven't found a snorlax anywhere though

I've been doing decent for the most part finished maxing out my 100% IV Arcane, going to start working on the 95.8% Snorlax I caught last week. I have a few 2000 CP+ guys now but they aren't much more than Gym holding fodder while I blast off to the next gym.

Mostly in DT and Princess Island

I haven't powered up many of the dragonites and snorlax except for the 2.6k one. I also found the vape at 1965

Are Dragonites all hype?

I keep downing Dragonites with little issues with my Lapras that is 1000 CP less.

The battle dynamics are such crap it's pretty easy to take down any gym with high CP unless they're super effective against you. Dragonites are only hyped cause they can have high CP


Every defense attack is 1.5 seconds, so it's pretty easy to figure out the dodge cycle

Because Ice > Dragon. You'll notice all your hits are "Super Effective" if you have Frost Breath and Ice Beam/Blizzard.

Also depends on IV levels, namely stamina. Not every 2000CP Dragonite will be any good. They are all hype to some extent. Most Dragonites in gyms are caught wild and probably have shitty stats.

Move set is also underrated and people should pay attention more to what they are using in a gym. A Victreebel with Solar Beam can destroy any Vaporeon as long as it can charge it up. But its true, the game dynamics aren't as good as it can be.

Dragonites look strong, but are no good at defending. Snorlax and Lapras for defending for sure

caught a dragonite today.. 343CP.. such a pain in the ass!!

all the "RARE" pokemon always come up weak.

Anyone have trouble using fastpokemap on their phones?

After it scans, it does not populate the map with any pokemon for me. For the "nearby" pokemon that it shows on the top right hand corner, if you click on them it shows a blue square on the map indicating that it could be in that area but that's it.

Even in popular places like Prince's island it does the same thing.

I am using a nexus 5/android.

Edit: After the update, the "found" pokemon icons on the top right corner doesn't do anything anymore if you click on them.
