Default Who to do basement development?

My new place needs the basement done. I'm looking for a bed room, rec room, bathroom, and small storage area. Not looking for anything super high-end.

    Thanks in advance

I used cobalt developments. My basement is just getting wrapped up. Tell Greg, Darren referred you and he wants a commission.

    Ha nice.

Also, I've never done this kind of development before. People have told me to expect something around $45/sq ft all in. Is that accurate?

That would be the minimum. Depends what your doing and level of trim.
You can't really go by sq footage. Extras like: Fireplace, quartz, wet bar, concrete cutting, railings, spray foam, high end carpet, bedroom window cuts, 4 piece bathroom, laundry room, built in cabinets, stone work, etc. add up FAST.

Cobalt did my basement too. There is a thread on here that I started talking about the wide variety of costs. Mind ended up a LOT higher than $45, and it doesn't look that high end. That being said, there were some extras that I'm happy I spent the money on.

Search it up, there are several useful threads.

Myself and at least 1 other have used Affordable Basements. Trent and his team did amazing work. Mine also was no where near $45/sq. ft, more like $75.

I went with planit builders and just had a friend go through them.
Pretty good, lots of delay but quality was there so I don't mind

Their finance option made it appealing to my buddy when he did it

This was one awesome thing with Cobalt. Eight weeks from start to finish, even though I added a gas fireplace on an interior wall after the framing was 90% done. Those guys have their act together. It's my understanding they do virtually all their basements in 8 week or less. I believe it.

Call/Text Dan (403) 703-6729, he frames homes for Calbridge and just did my basement, highly recommended!

For a plan you just threw together its pretty good. I hope whoever you hire appreciates the extra effort you put into it.
