Another rainy Tuesday in lower mainland
I took the pic because crazy wheel fitment lol and type r badge etc. But then as I walk around the car it was actually a bunch of pretty cool parts etc. As I was leaving the shopping area I stopped to talk to the owner. It was a 20 yr old. He had put a b16 etc in it. I found it pretty cool that a kid was driving a car that was made before he was born and he had modded it like us elder folk did back in the day. Body of the car was rust free.
Some kids really take to the scene, I like to see it. My kid is slowly getting there. Also no pic but I got a ride in a 2018 718 GTS and I was very impressed what a car with such little power(compared to alot of other P cars) is capable of.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. I was in awe seeing one at a meet last year. It was like seeing an F40 or something similar for the first time. Amazing.
I read this in Nicholas Cages Memphis Rains from Gone in 60 seconds voiceThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm with SKR, GREAT spot Gyromonkey - if that isn't worth a +rep nothing is.
Nismodrifter - same here, saw one when I was in LA at a meet I didn't even plan to go to. Seeing is believing, but hearing was divine. When the owner left the meet, he goosed it, maybe a couple second pull, and even that howl had everyone of the street cheering and clapping. Made the PITA getting out of the area so worth it, everyone in our car was jabbering about the LFA for the trip home down to Chula Vista.
Yeah the sound is wild. I was at Lexus of Calgary when they got their first LC500 in the showroom and they started the LFA and LC500 and had a "rev-off" inside haha. That's a situation that's either really stupid or really awesome, entirely depending on what cars are doing it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
