There is a dude in my area who drives one. Have seen it out on the roads even during heavy rain storms. And then there is me...who doesn't take his car out if rain is in the forecast anytime in the next 30 days.

Ah found the pic of him driving in front of me. My gawd. Name: 2020-11-29-18-01-36.jpg

The sound. The smell. Amazing. It was lightly raining too. Baller

Does it ever go 30 days without raining in Vancouver?

Are porches not waterproof? Do people don't drive cars in the rain? I'm so confused.

Summer months are straight drought and roasting hot.

ExtraSlow yes there are a certain group of individuals who believe their cars will melt if they touch water. A crazy bunch.

Basically a nicer more well thought out and better built Model S. 860hp version, 0-100 is def fast as fuck. 60-120 felt fast but not the fastest car I’ve driven. 1200hp version would be fun. Too much Vancouver traffic to get any taste of cornering limits.

It’s buggy tho (imo) but could be as designed? Launch control acceleration doesn’t stop when I lifted the throttle. Bit of a wtf. Didn’t stop accelerating till I hammered the brakes. Caught me off guard a little.

So you stopped stepping on the accelerator but it kept going? Got dang that sounds concerning.

Yea. I mean my transition from accelerator to brake was pretty quick, maybe it was lagged but 100% kept accelerating while my foot was off the accelerator pedal for that 1/2 second or so. Didn't have a chance to test it again by letting off and see how long it took before it stopped accelerating.

    That’s absolutely wild haha.

Lucid seems like a pretty solid EV package, aside from the horribly ugly rear end design. I would be pretty put off by a vehicle that accelerates with no accelerator input though.
