Did not expect to see Japan pop up...I guess it's completely separate from the other crap going on and not random. Looks like a disgruntled employee or something. Thankfully stuff like this is incredibly rare in Japan, RIP.

It's just proof that the media has figured out world wide violent events are good for their traffic. The world has always been crazy but hasn't had 500 million cameras around to showcase it, until recent years.

Put 100 rats into a 10 rat box and they will kill off each other too to preserve the balance. So will every other organism.

pretty much. The reality is that the world is a much safer and better place now than in any other time in history. People just feed on irrational fear. The world is a big place. Every second someone around the world dies. We just love to focus on tragedies. 30/40 years ago how many news stories were we getting about murders in Japan, Germany or anywhere else around the world. Almost never. People are so fucking reactionary now a days. If you're going to bed tonight in Calgary and somehow have an elevated level of fear because of a knife attack in japan or a crazy teen shooting in Germany, you need to potentially seek some counseling to get that in check. Must be an awful existence to live with much irrational fear.
