Also, I'd like to know where Peter Demong got an i-phone case for 16$

Most of this stuff should be paid out of their own pocket IMO
Nothing that I am reading here is out of line at all for a business expense imho...

I charged my new ( much more expensive than his ) iPhone to the shareholders, fuck me right?

No way expenses for community outreach should be coming out of their own pockets. Would you pay personally for a community open house / consultation at work in your department?

Whether or not some of these things should have been done if they cost this much money is a different matter, but they definitely aren't the responsibility of the Councillor for doing their job.

On a side note renting a suite for a flames game for only 1600 dollars (seats 16), I'll take that deal any day of the week compared to spending money on individual tickets for a group.

Um, why is expensing a phone that big of a deal?

Lots of companies have standardized using Iphones, tons of people get business phones that they can use for personal use.

I'd be a lot angrier at the guy who spent $1k on pens and pencils

I think the only thing out of line there is the flames game suite.

Wow, Wooley spent more than the bottom 5 councilors.

The only charge I saw that was questionable was a parking ticket. I question whether my work would reimburse that.

Agreed. Working in the oil patch, I know very few people with a personal phone that they pay for...

Reading it over closer I agree, that's just in bad taste. And seems like a personal treat to his friends.

That's outrageous! Doesn't she know she can buy those at Dollarama for a buck each!? Unless she bought 17, then nevermind haha

How many did she buy, do you know?

I know you're just trying to pick on Druh in a joking fashion but other expenses like the councillor who got magnetic business cards I think might be questionable.

I love Sean Chu, but $1k on "Communication Magnets"? Maybe I'll feel like an idiot when a Beyonder sets me straight but WTF is a Communication Magnet

*Edit* See, told you, I feel like an idiot, thanks Speeddog.

Looks like sign rental companies are more profitable than I thought they would be.

A lot of extremely questionable meal and entertainment expenses.

Other than that nothing beyond the pale.

I assume Speeddog PM'd you, for everyone else's sake, it's those stuff that realtors give out right? So it will be on your fridge most of the time?

I cant imagine any beyonders atleast would have a white fridge these days. Nothing sticks to those metal looking ones.
