SASC - Fort Macleod - July 23/24

There are autocross/autox/autoslalom events at Fort Macleod again this weekend (Sat./Sun).

Note that Sunday is going to be a "Tournament Challenge" type of event that is new to us and should be a lot of fun. The event will be similar to the SCCA Match Tours down in the 'States.

There will be CASH prizes:

1st Place Prize $300
2nd Place Prize $150
3rd Place Prize $75

Note that for the prizes, your shoot-out index time will be based on your morning/early runs so even if you are not a championship level driver, you will have a good opportunity to win (perhaps better?)! The fees are an extra $10 to cover the cash prizes.

What do you need: A Snell-approved helmet (motorcycle ok), driver's licence and a vehicle (something not prone to rolling such as a high truck or SUV typically) in safe operating condition - e.g. adequate rubber, no fluid leaks, loose battery, etc. etc. (normal safe operating condition basically).

Saturday Practice Cost is $30 for members including affiliated clubs, $40 for non-members on-line, Add another $10 if showing up last minute and paying on-site. Membership has its privileges and can save you money if you do more than a couple of events.
