    From the Financial Post article:
Most of the new jobs in Alberta in the last 12 months have been in health care, social assistance and education.
Well ain't that fucking peachy? The "make less, spend more" plan continues.

We'll be $50 billion in the hole once these guys are done.

    Yay for debt!

To quote the NDP, it's the right thing to do.

I certainly didn't vote NDP, but even I didn't think they'd be this incompetent. Governments borrowing to cover operating expenses should be a crime.

Honestly, we don't need the WildRose anymore, we need Ralph Klein to get out of his grave and start running things again.

    And I'm a gov employee

They have to. They spent the rest of the money on the Health Minister's Twinkie habit and ads trying to convince people that driving investment from the province is a good thing.

Not surprised at all. About par for the course really. Not even the never-talked-about carbon tax surprised me. Shows the typical total lack of NDP financial knowledge.

    Apparently other people thought otherwise.

Yup, year 2 is going to be a clusterfuck. I'm assuming they're already starting to fudge the financial statements, so the deficit is probably worse than what they said.

Ceci made sure to mention the Ft Mac wildfires as a major contributor to the deficit, maybe its my ears, but I didn't hear him mention the 47,000 employees added to the public payroll.

All of this is right out of the NDP playbook.

I lived in BC as Phreak did, none of this is surprising, it will only get worse.

With this level of provincial debt, we all are.

It's time to consider leaving the province as the best before date has passed.

Where are all the Orange Crush supporters? They have been virtually silent throughout the last 15 months.
