Where can I get a pair of dress pants hemmed on short notice? In a day or two or while I wait.

I am pretty sure there is a dry cleaners/alterations place beside the co-op on Northland Dr. in Dalhousie. Doubt they are open after 5 though.

But if you don't mind driving in SW there is a place called 4 star alterations. Just dropped off a pair yesterday and will be getting it tomorrow. So quick enough. $10.

If you're in the south I go to south trail crossing - I think they do 24hr for a charge

Also, depending where you are.. just google around, a lot of places do 24hr services

There is a place in Forest Lawn called Forest Laundry, usually can do it same day. Cash only!

There's a tailor in chinook that did 6hr turn around. I forget the name. Little more pricey. But good quality. Ask for a seamstress to do your fitting, not the girl working the till.

I had them modify a pant quite extensively (inseam, length, add taper, move button and add ghost pocket on the inside). Was like 60 bucks. But they did it plus 3 other pairs of pants in 6hrs.
