OMGZZZ 5G in phones!!!! NEVER DONE BEFORE!!!
Impressive presentations though.
Nice phone, but it almost feels like they don’t want you to buy the flagship making them all so similar.
The only difference is the third camera? I don’t really understand that.

And LIDAR. I like the 4S chassis style.

Looks like I may have to keep my iPhone 7 forever. I don't need any larger and I would prefer smaller.
iPhone 12 Mini supposed to have the same dimensions. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I think I thought the mini was going to be cheaper but they just used it so they could increase the price of the 6.1 12 over $1k.
iphone 11 sticks around but only loses $100 usd.

That's even larger, is it not? The 7 has a 4.7" screen. I would prefer back to the size of the 5.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Screen size comparison isn’t apples to apples with the new screens. Phone itself is smaller, screen bigger. More screen, less phone. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Take out your 7, imagine the screen stretch to the edges, add a tiny notch, that's 12 mini. Definitely not as small as old iPhone SE.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
No charger included but they also gives you a USB C to Lighting charging cable. So all your USB A charger are now garbage unless you buy a A to C adapter. Genius move.

Phew, 12 pro is $1399, I thought it was going to surpass $1400.
12 is $1129, that is like $200up from the 11, even the 12 mini is $979 ayiyiyi
Disappointed no Touch ID. Guess another year on the XS. This will be the longest time I've held onto a phone.

Disappointed it looks pretty much the same since X. Still has the notch and faceid. I guess I will keep my X for another 2 years. lol

So it seems overall that the 12 and mini are a fair bit better than expected.
This is the smallest gap between pro and non pro they have ever done for sure. Gonna sell a lot fewer flagships.
Will be interesting to see if any other differences between the phone show up beyond the announcement, no comment on 5G band differences for example.

Looks like they just re-announced last year's phones haha. Same gigantic notch, no fast charging (by modern standards), average looking low-res cameras, no touch-ID, no high refresh display even on the Pro, low-ish res screens, no USB-C.
I think anyone with an X or newer might have a hard time justifying an upgrade. The lack of higher refresh rate screens is most surprising to me, even mid-range phones these days have them.
I will probably get it. Thinking to just go with the Pro as opposed to Pro Max. Keep getting bigger and bigger.
LiDar's going to kill your sperm if the cancer from 5G doesn't get to you first.
