I have a hundred or so eBooks, ePub, PDF in my iBooks App on my iPad. Not sure how why I can't back them up to iCloud, but of course the only ones found there are purchased from Apple.

How do I download them off of my iPad and onto my PC? I'd actually to duplicate them off to my iPhone, but not sure how to do that also.

    Thanks!

How did you do it? I've connected to the content server, via browser on my iPad -- but don't see how to export the books to my PC.

The short? It didn’t. Wasted time on it. I supposed I could’ve risked buying their App, but the support was nil, outside of diving into the bowels of some random forums.

Just bought iMazing, for $15 from Macworld. Did exactly who needed effortlessly.

Certain apps on my phone somehow relocated themselves into different spots on my home screen. No idea how that happened.

Also, I'm having a problem with my old iphone 5s playing on my tv via the apple HDMI adapter. It worked great until yesterday, and then just stopped working. If I connect my X to it, works no problem. Something about my 5s is an issue. It just doesn't recognize that it's attached to the adapter.

That will happen if they get bumped to another screen after a major OS update that adds an app.

Got bored on the weekend and swapped my 8+ for a 11 pro max, I'm so happy to not have to constantly click that home button moving around. Nice little upgrade, battery life is a huge difference between the two. Probably could have held out for another year but mehh

I have finally made the transition to acquiring my first Apple Ipad 7 (LTE) after an entire lifetime of managing to avoid Apple products entirely.

Don't know whether to rejoice or fall to my knees. Will buy a Huawei next year to atone for my sins.

Already noted: Ipad7lte has very strong GPS and location services. Cannot GPS drift more than than a few meters. Dammit.

So Beyond is full of some real photo buffs so I’m interested to hear thoughts.

What’s your go to photo solution on your iPhone? Stock app?

I was playing around with taking RAW and doing a bit of tweaking directly in LR on my phone this morning with pretty good results. 80% of LR’s features are free on iPhone with no need for a CC subscription which is cool.

I feel like the stock app really leaves some quality to be desired, especially in anything resembling low light. Wondering what low hanging fruit workflows people are using to bump their shots to the next level

Hilarious how hot the phones gets though.

What is everyone's experience with wireless charging and the 11?

Have seen some articles saying that Apple has basically crippled it? If it still works, which charger are you guys using?

I have zero issues, I think it actually is better than my 10 was. I have all kinds throughout my house from Anker to Samsung to Hard Cider. All work just fine.

To take photos, I use the stock Camera app as there are times that I just launch the camera app while the phone is locked.
To process photos, then I use Darkroom or VSCO. Snapseed is powerful too but I find it unorganized.

Despite having an Iphone 11 Pro, I primarily use it for quick snapshots but never for serious photos. I've also noticed the camera app being buggy probably because of all the AI crap running behind now.
-Sometimes when launching the camera app, all you get is a white screen
-Switching camera modes feels slow (video/photo/portrait/pano)
    -Switching portrait zoom feels slow

I use it for quick shots and use the standard focal length primarily as it will always give you the best IQ, zoom if I want for reach but I would rather zoom with my feet if possible.
Portrait is ok sometimes but still not perfect.
UWA is convenient but corners are not great

Decent for small 4x6 or 8x10 prints

If they put in the cooling and circuitry to allow fast charge while "off" and only used USB-C they could pump 100 watts using an ultra thick cable. Also an aluminum mouse pad to rest on while charging would help keep things cool.

Then I think wireless charging wouldn't even be an issue. Ten minutes at 100 watts would be "risky" but they seem to have perfected batteries that revert to trickle charge at 80% capacity.

Keeping the USB charging brick cool would be more of an issue, but they just invented GaN technology, so they can always use the newly acquired space, for cooling.

If you have to ask you can’t afford it pal.

FWIW We have spent nearly that much on specialized computer workstations at work before. You think that’s expensive, what’s really expensive is people’s time.

Our annual individual license fees for some tools we use is more than that.

This was never a computer for consumers.

MKBHD was able to cut Final Cut Pro rendering from 11m on iMac Pro to 4m on Mac Pro.

    Somebody can definitely justified it.

I remembered back in the day someone paid that much in the 2000s for some SGI workstation running NT in the refinery and we just found it collecting dust 7 years later and nobody knew what they are for. And those were the same price as this Mac Pro but 20 years ago.
