Depends on your plan. My LTE is capped at 8GB.

No you have whatever your plan offers 5gb. 8gb, 10gb etc then when you go over that it goes to unlimited throttled 3g

With new law coming in, it would be pretty stupid to lock it and then waste time unlocking for free when requested.

I just picked up an X yesterday (they have a few at Chinook and market mall if anyone wants one) and it is locked to my carrier. I guess the law isnt quite complete yet. Says a $50 fee is charged if i need unlocked until that law is finalized.

Overall im super impressed with the phone. It was $599 through a hardware upgrade. Theres no way i could justify the 1200+ or whatever it is though. Really liking the face ID. It makes things really convenient, the camera is great (im coming from a 6+).

I Guess it would be nice if the notch wasn't there, but it doesnt bother me at all and kind of like how the time, wifi signal and battery life is all fitted nicely up to the corners.

wireless charging is great too. I retrofitted a charger hidden in my car.

$65. I had the option of either increasing my monthly rate, or paying a bit higher for the phone which is was what i did. I think the other option was 100$ less or something but more on the plan.

I got my X on Friday. After all the talk on here, I thought Face ID would be easy to get used to but I have been really disappointed. It has made unlocking your phone a 3 step process- wake it up, look at it to unlock, and swipe up to open. with my 6S Plus, a simple click of the home button preformed all of these in 1 step and it would be unlocked by the time I got it out of my pocket. Also it forces you to pick up your phone and to point the camera at you if it is sitting on a table or counter. All in all, seems like a step backwards.

My bad if this is already common knowledge but you can preswipe before the actual unlock. I swipe up just as im looking at it and it opens right away once it catches my face so you dont have to wait for it to unlock.
